Sarbanes
Senator Jean-Peal Sarbanes will be retiring from the Senate in 2007. (aka, this will be his last term, I don't think I wrote that very clearly.) Sarbanes is 72 and has served as a Senator since 1976. According to the Washington Post,
"A vocal critic of Republican economic and monetary policies that he said harmed the poor, Sarbanes also became a trusted behind-the-scenes adviser to a series of Senate Democratic leaders."I googled some more pictures of Sen. Sarbanes and he strikes me as man who takes great appreciation in his outfits. He has a air of elegance and refinement that is shown not only in his work but in his upkeep as well. If there's one thing you should remember about this man it is his Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 that should help alleviate us of corporate idiots like Ken Lay.
